General Questions

What is ReportSpark?

ReportSpark transforms traditional school reports into engaging, interactive experiences for students. We take academic data and create personalised websites that celebrate achievements, explore future pathways, and make learning journeys more meaningful for students from Year 1 through to Year 13.

Who is ReportSpark for?

ReportSpark is designed for UK school students (Year 1 onwards), their parents, and schools who want to make academic feedback more engaging and actionable. We help students of all ages understand how their current learning connects to their future, with age-appropriate content for each key stage.

Is ReportSpark available outside the UK?

Currently, ReportSpark is exclusively available for UK schools. We're focused on aligning with the UK curriculum and assessment frameworks across all key stages. We may expand internationally in the future – join our mailing list to stay updated!

How It Works

How does ReportSpark work?

  1. Parents input student report data through our secure platform

  2. Our system analyses the information and identifies strengths, progress areas, and age-appropriate future connections

  3. We generate a personalised, interactive website tailored to your learner

  4. You receive a unique link to explore their academic journey and celebrate their achievements

What information do you need to create a ReportSpark?

The more information we have the more comprehensive a report can be prepared but at a minimum we need basic report card information including:

  • Student year group (Year 1-13)

  • Subject grades, levels, or progress indicators

  • Attendance data (optional)

  • Teacher comments (optional) No personal identifying information is required beyond a first name (which can be a nickname).

Privacy & Security

How do you protect student data? Student privacy is our top priority:

  • We use minimal data – no addresses, or sensitive personal information required

  • All data is encrypted and stored securely on our servers

  • Each report has a unique URL

  • Report deletion can be requested at any time.

  • We never share or sell student data

Who can see my child's ReportSpark?

Only people with the unique URL can view the report. You control who receives this link. Reports are not indexed by search engines and cannot be discovered without the specific URL.

Can I delete a ReportSpark report?

Yes, you can request deletion at any time. Simply email us with your unique report ID, and we'll permanently remove all associated data within 48 hours.

Features & Content

What makes ReportSpark different from a traditional report? Traditional reports are often dense documents that students rarely revisit. ReportSpark creates:

  • Interactive, visually engaging presentations appropriate for each age

  • Future pathway connections (career paths for older students, subject interests for younger ones)

  • Celebration of progress and achievements, not just grades

  • Actionable insights and resources for improvement

  • Age-appropriate encouragement and motivation
